Joy

" Stand and see this great thing that THE LORD will do before your very eyes..." 1 Samuel 12:16

Once again we are overwhelmed with the hope that was presented to us today. Today we met with our neuro surgeon, Dr. Rao. Within minutes of sitting down with us, he explained that he does not feel this is a tumor. But, instead damaged cells from radiation. But, he can not be sure and the only way to be sure is to do surgery. He did not see an urgency in doing the surgery right away and gave us the OK to continue with our spring break plans in March and have a scheduled surgery for March 20th. He explained that instead of our first surgery of 8 hours this one will be 2 hours! And David will not have to be awake for the surgery like last time because of the location.

This meeting put David in great spirits as he has complete confidence in Dr. Rao. He also is anxious about getting back to work and having this removed with in the next month. This journey is not over. We have seen God work through your prayers and truly the past two days were not what we expected. They have been peaceful, positive, hopeful and joyful. This is because of your outreach on our behalf in your prayers and your thoughts.

We selfishly ask for you to still stand beside us in specific prayer......as many of you know when you walked this journey from day one with us....we still have to get insurance to approve! We also are asking that we pray until the day we find out that pathology results which we hope and believe will say this is not a tumor. But, we also ask you to pray boldly like you did the past few days and thank God. Thank him for these past two days for what i consider a miracle......

Our personal pray is that we give glory to God no matter what. That we focus on all the blessings in our lives, and that we continue to only grow strong as couples, parents and friends through this. That our faith will never waver and that we seek him for our strength and allow our eyes to be opened to his goodness through all of your amazing hearts, words and faithful encouragement.

"  With respect to the promise of God, he did not waver in unbelief, but grew strong in faith, giving glory to God and being fully assured that what He had promised, He was able also to perform " Romans 4:20-21
